On Wednesday June 1, 2011,  Reading Against the Odds group members took a break from reading Devil in a Blue Dress by Walter Mosley and headed down to the Adler Planetarium to take advantage of Chicago's numerous Museum Free Days. RAO group members learned about the history of space travel and space research. They also listened to a lecture concerning the forces and conditions that created and maintains our solar system. At the end of the trip students were encouraged to reflect and write about their experiences at the museum. It was truly a trip that was out of this world!!!
